Retrieving the best in tech for you!
CUT TO THE CHASE
Whatās on my mind?
Iām been hearing (and seeing) a lot of buzz about wearable tech for years now. In other words, wearable tech is essentially gadgets built into or easily attached to your clothes and gear (like a backback).
It could be anything from warming gloves with a built in rechargeable battery to hear monitors built into t-shirts.
The power source, aka battery has been and continues to be a major constraint to progress in this space (wearable tech).
The more powerful the device, the more battery power it needs. More battery power means bigger battery, which means a big device, which usually means less comfortable to wear or oftentimes, not feasible for us to wear.
Also, I have lived through the introduction of the cell phone, the era of making cell phones smaller and smaller.
AND then then the era of making them larger and larger as they became less of a phone and more of a computer.
But what if someone was able to capture many of the features of a cell phone - core capabilities like making calls, sending text messages, getting directions and listening to music and re-imagine it in another device?
Check out my āGadgetā section below where it delve deeper into this.
Feel free to challenge me here if something gets too technical and I can break it down for you, whether itās in the next edition or on socials ā¦ or both.

The Wearable AI Tech
Many people still have not heard of this cool tech ā¦ have you?
It simply attaches to your clothing (t-shirt, sweater, suit jacket etc.) like a pin (or brooch) with its magnetic battery pack.
You can ask it a question, get assistance with directions, take a picture or video, make calls, receive text messages, play music or even translate a conversation for you in real time by auto detecting languages being spoken.
You can not only interact with it by voice but also via the projection it casts onto the palm of your hand!
Sounds like a Sci-Fi movie right?
